Gwyn Ashton is a bluesrock guitarist and singer. He was born in Wales, but in his childhood he moved to Adelaide in Australia. He started playing the guitar at twelve and at sixteen he started playing bars and festivals. In 1983 he settled in Sydney, where he founded his own trio and after moving to Melbourne in 1991, he began to record albums; The first was Feel The Heat from 1993 and after three years the second Beg, Borrow & Steel. Later he returned to Europe and in 1999 released a new album Fang It! Another album came in 2003; It was called Prohibition and, besides others, Ted McKenna and Don Airey participated. Another album Two-Man Blues Army released three years later and in the next three years the radiogram; Don Airey and Kim Wilson, Robbie Blunt and Mark Stanway again participated in the album.
